Enjoy the kaleidoscope of Spain’s vibrant culture and sights that range from prehistoric cave paintings to the Surrealist/Modernist paintings of Salvador Dali to its Gothic architecture, modern elegance, glittering beaches and exciting nightlife. This is a country that has endured the rise and fall of numerous empires, each having left behind an extensive variety of captivating historic sites. The cultural integration has nurtured the minds of great thinkers such as El Greco, Goya, Lorca and Cervantes, to name just a few.

This Session includes guided tours of Madrid Opens in new window and Barcelona Opens in new window, the Guggenheim Museum Opens in new window, and the works of visionary architect Antonio Gaudi. Your stay will be pleasantly punctuated by visits to the beaches of Barcelona. You will enjoy learning about Spain’s fascinating history while admiring its bold modernism.
